Md. Toky Tazwar is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University, where he joined on August 4, 2025. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), where he demonstrated strong academic excellence and a consistent commitment to leadership and co-curricular engagement.

His research interests lie in the field of VLSI design and nanoelectronics, with a particular focus on CNFET-based circuit design, SRAM optimization considering delay, power, and static noise margin (SNM), as well as low noise amplifier (LNA) design. He is experienced in industry-standard design and simulation tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, and is deeply interested in exploring efficient and scalable electronic systems through advanced device technologies.

At BRAC University, he is actively involved in teaching both theory and laboratory courses, including Digital Electronics and Pulse Techniques (CSE350), Circuits & Electronics Laboratory (CSE250L), Electronic Devices and Circuits Laboratory (CSE251L), Digital Electronics and Pulse Techniques Laboratory (CSE350L), and VLSI Design Laboratory (CSE460L). He is particularly dedicated to improving students’ learning experiences and has contributed to developing instructional materials for the CSE350 course.

Throughout his academic journey, he has demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills. He served as the Vice President of the IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) BUET Student Branch Chapter, where he organized seminars, workshops, technical talks, and competitions such as the Three Minute Thesis (3MT). His leadership abilities were also evident from an early stage, having served as class captain during his school and college years, and later as a class representative (CR) at BUET.

He has received numerous accolades for his academic and extracurricular achievements, including being named to the Dean’s List at BUET (2021 & 2022). His earlier accomplishments include becoming a Regional Champion in the National High School Programming Contest, Divisional Champion in Srijonshil Medha Onweshon (Math and Computer category), and Best Student of Nilphamari District in National Education Week, among others. He has also excelled in national-level competitions such as the Bangladesh Chemistry Olympiad.

Beyond academics, he enjoys playing badminton and cricket, as well as traveling. As an individual, he is best described as analytical, leadership-oriented, and a dedicated problem solver, constantly striving to grow both intellectually and professionally.
