Md Mizanur Rahman Mustakim completed his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Technology from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), China, where he graduated with First Class honors, secured the 1st position in his cohort, and received the Honor Graduate Award. He later pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science and Technology at Beijing Institute of Technology, graduating with First Class distinction and earning the prestigious Honor Graduate title.
He developed his research career at Beijing Institute of Technology, serving as a Research Assistant in the School of Information and Electronics and later as a Graduate Research Assistant in the School of Computer Science and Technology. His research has focused on machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and medical image analysis. He has contributed to projects involving dental X-ray image processing, teeth segmentation and localization, bone age prediction, road damage detection, and large language model hallucination detection.
In addition to his research activities, he has published scholarly works in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and image processing, including research on intrusion detection systems for IoT networks using machine learning and semi-supervised defect segmentation. He has received several prestigious awards and scholarships, including the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC), Beijing Municipal Government Scholarship, and multiple international AI competition awards. His research interests include computer vision, medical AI, deep learning, natural language processing, cybersecurity, and intelligent healthcare systems.
